TIP: How to Print a Glog....

Tip: To print a glogster without distortion – 

• Open the Glog
• Right-Click the glog 
• Select print.   
• Easy as 1-2-3!!!!

Update your Pass/Fail Competencies

It is important that you update your Pass/Fail Y5 Competencies every 2-3 weeks in your web based gradebook.  If you have additional questions after reading this, please see me in B222 as the end of the quarter is fast approaching.

To do this, follow these steps:

1) To enter competency Pass/Fail grades, launch your grade book from PowerTeacher.

2) Click Final Grades & make sure Reporting Term is Y5   

(Note:  Never enter P/F on Q1, Q2, Q3 or Q4–competencies always entered on Y5)

3)  On the far right-hand columns, your assignment point summary is located, if you right 

      click on the column header, you can select Letter Grade

4) Put in your F’s in the various competency columns located in the middle columns.

5) Enter all your exceptions (F’s)

6) While entering F’s enter your NCF in the Y5 at this time

7) After F’s & NCF’s are entered, right-click on the competency column heading, select Quick 

    Fill and select P.   All P’s will be entered in all remaining records.

8 ) Do the same process for each competency column.

9) In a few weeks, you can go into these columns and clear the P/F indicators and perform   

     the process again after additional grades have been entered.
