Create Chrome OS Recovery USB (for specified model):
- First you must download the App for Chrome Recovery
- Launch the Recovery App
- Put the USB in the usb2.0 port
- Follow on screen instructions & select the exact model number
- The Chrome Recovery will be created on the USB
Recover Chrome OS on Chromebook from USB:
- Put USB that has Chrome OS recovery on it
- Start the computer holding down the ESC key + Refresh (F3) and power button
- The Chromebook with boot in developer mode, the integrity of the media will be checked and OS will be reinstalled
- Once recovery is complete you can remove the USB drive
- The chromebook will automatically restart
- If you are managing the chromebook under an educational environment, the enterrprise management will still remain on the device.
